Otopeni Airport to Your Bucharest Hotel — Times and Transfers
Bucharest’s international airport is Henri Coandă (OTP) in Otopeni, about 17 km north of the centre. Băneasa, closer to town, only handles business and private flights. From OTP you have three ways in.

Arriving the same evening
If your plane lands after 17:00 on a weekday, don’t arrange anything before you are at the hotel: the drive in can take longer than the flight. Arrange for an hour after your realistic check-in time; it is easier to bring a meeting forward than to keep someone waiting in a lobby.
From the north, the shortest waits
Hotels in Floreasca and around Piața Presei are 20–30 minutes from the terminal and close to Pipera. 13 current profiles in Pipera, Floreasca and Herăstrău list hotel visits.
